This is a great opportunity to join a very established group in the Greater Atlanta Area. The Hospitalist program is 9 years old with a very low turnover rate. This group consists of 13 full – time doctors, with mid-level support. Practicing in three hospitals ranging from a 200 bed Regional Medical Center to a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital. The group has a 5 day on 5 day off rotation, 6am-6pm with shared night call. There are no procedures required, but with an open ICU a qualified physician can perform if it is desired. The average daily census ranges for 16-18 patients per day, with 6-7 doctors covering the three hospitals each day. The hospital teams rotate each location monthly. The starting salary is $210,000 annually, plus bonus. There is a full benefit plan including paid time off, malpractice and health insurance.
