Hospitalist, Idaho, Permanent
This Idaho Hospitalist program includes critical care, surgical consultation, consulting on psych patients, sharing call by phone; approximately 15 patients per day, attending physician for approximately 80-85% of all admissions, 8-12 hour shifts. There currently have five Hospitalists. Negotiable compensation is hourly due to some physicians wanting to work more hours than others. The team is extremely flexible and works very well together covering for one another and accommodating schedules.
Located in a moderately sized community of 55,000, with a service area of 180,000; rich in history, waterways, distinct seasons and abundant outdoor living. Golf over 325 days per year; World Class whitewater rafting, fishing and hunting. There is access to numerous college and universities. A family-friendly community, low crime, great educational options, historic to newly developed neighborhoods.
Locatied in a region commonly referred to as the “banana belt,” known for a mild climate, low humidity and long growing season. Along with this bonus attribute, it is also geographically close to six ski resorts, numerous rivers, lakes and reservoirs, amazing hiking and camping.
